Description
The German invasions of Poland, the Low Countries and France in1940 shocked the world and brought the term "Blitzkrieg" into common usage. Behind the myth was a core of superbly trained and equipped infantry, supported by tanks and artillery and able to operate in combined arms groups far in advance of other armies.
This starter army has everything you need to assemble an early war German Heer force.
Blitzkrieg Starter Army contains:
- 36 x Early War German infantry (plastic) including rifles, sub machine guns and light machine guns
- 1 x medium machine gun team (metal)
- 1 x medium mortar team (metal)
- 1 x light howitzer (metal)
- 1 x Sd. Kfz. 251 half track (plastic)
- 1 x Panzer IV B/C/D medium tank (plastic)
- Assembly and painting instructions, stat cards, full-colour decal sheets, vehicle damage markers, and plastic bases
