Description
The 74-inch heavy long barrel with hider, stock, ribbed hand guard and 45 long magazines are reproduced with new modeling. The RPK is a light machine gun based on the assault rifle AK and officially adopted by the Soviet Union Army in 1961. By using 7.62 x 39 mm ammunition, it was possible to share ammunition and magazines with the main rifle AK, which contributed to the direct fire support of the squad and its operation. As the times progressed and the main rifle was updated to the smaller caliber AK74, the RPK was also updated to the RPK74, which uses 5.45 x 39mm ammunition. The RPK74M is the current model with reinforced resin stock and hand guards.
