Hasegawa 1/48 F/A-18E Super Hornet
F / A - 18 E / F Super Hornet is an evolutionary successor of F / A - 18 C / D. We added a fuel tank to extend cruising distance. The fuselage is extended by 86 cm, and the vertical tail is also loaded with fuel. The weight increase accompanying this is supplemented with the engine which increased the thrust, and the intake vent is also enlarged with the engine change. Intake of angular shape of parallelogram is one of appearance features of this machine. The airframe structure was changed drastically, such as the main wing extended and the wing area increased in order to increase the lift, but in other parts only some electronics and power supply system were updated, F / A - 18C / D is being used in common.
Kit reproduces F / A - 18F with a completely new mold. Please expect it for a sharp panel line sculpture with part composition which is moderately assembled. Accessories on the underside of the main wing set up tank for increasing tank (~ 4), AIM-9X (~ 2), Amuram (~ 2), target pod.
