Why Play Sealed?

No deck? No problem! Draft is a fantastic way to enjoy Star Wars: Unlimited without needing a collection or a carefully tuned deck. Everyone starts with three booster packs and builds their deck as cards travel around the table.

Every draft is a fresh challenge. Discover unexpected combinations, give different leaders a try, and make those tricky choices: take your favourite character, or grab the card that ties your deck together?

For newer players, it’s a chance to grow your collection and meet the local community. For experienced players, it’s a chance to test your deckbuilding skills with whatever comes your way.

You keep every card you draft, so come crack some packs, grab a snack, and settle in for some Star Wars with friends!

Draft Play Overview

In a Star Wars: Unlimited three-booster Draft, everyone builds their deck during the event from cards they choose as packs are passed around the table. You don’t need to bring a deck!

1. Each player receives three booster packs. Open them carefully and remove only the leader cards, leaving the other cards unseen.

2. Draft your leaders. Choose one of your three leaders and pass the other two to the right. From the two you receive, keep one and pass the last one right. You now have three leaders to choose from when building your deck.

3. Draft the first pack. Look through its remaining cards, choose one to keep, and pass the rest to the left. Keep choosing one card from each incoming pack until all cards have been selected.

4. Repeat with the other two packs. Pass the second pack to the right, then the third pack to the left.

5. Build your deck. Choose one leader, one base, and at least 30 cards from your drafted pool. Common bases can be supplied, so you don’t need to draft one. Normal aspect penalties apply, but you can include more than three copies of a card if you drafted them.

6. Play your matches! Once everyone has built their deck, players are paired up for normal games of Star Wars: Unlimited. You keep the cards you drafted.
